The "elevator pitch" session organised at LangTech 2003 on 24th November allowed 12 selected SMEs and start-ups to present their activities and products to a floor of venture capitalists, commercial representatives from large technology corporations and other interested parties.
A panel of industrial and financial experts, including representatives from Chausson Finance and TechFund Capital Europe Management, was set up to judge the presentations and award the prizes to the first 3 best presentations.
The winners of the LangTech 2003 SME elevator pitch session are:
- 1st Prize: Lingua & Machina, France.
- 2nd Prize: Morphologic, Hungary.
- 3rd Prize: CIMOS, France.
